The governing body for approx 25% of Aikido within the UK " The British Aikido Board " has never officially recognised Kenshiro Abbe Sensei as the father of all British Aikido or its incepton in 1955. The previous BAB Chairman Toni Davis stated at a BAB general meeting whilst fully and knowingly condoning the fraudulent claims of one Mr Jack Poole " We the British Aikido Board are not the custodians of the history of British Aikido,and we therefore have no interest in the same !!".. The event was sold out with 425 participants including many BAB members.Participants - Guests - Spectators reached an amazing 1000. There were many distinguished guests. Mr Vincent Sumpter the present BAB chairman "refused" to attend the event to pay the respects of his membership to the memory of Kenshiro Abbe. Latest News !!
